Even if a friend out of state, say me, buys it and mails it to you, if they find out what is in the package, we both get arrested or fined. So, how far are ya from the border? Mesquite (a Nevada border town) opened a porn shop about 10 years ago and the predominant religion here in UT picketed it, took down Utah license plate numbers and harassed the people that shopped there until it closed down. People here are so closed minded. I am sorry, porn does not start a crime spree! Just because I want to watch porn does not mean you have to. Ironically the area in the state with the most pay per view (soft core) porn is the most mormon. They are usually our of the city limits so they can't be touched. for those in utah! How do they know there is porn in the mail? Do they x-ray the mail looking for DVDs? It is the same with alcohol - you can't buy through the mail because kids might join a wine of the month club and become alcoholics. So sellers don't even try.The state of Utah likes to trap people doing 'bad' things. They will send people into bars and restaurants to see if they break any of the many alcohol serving laws. If they catch anyone making a mistake they will pull their license to serve for several days.So I wouldn't be surprised if the state tries to order porn from vendors to try to get them in trouble. So, even if they wanted too, the order wouldn't even go thru. Here in TX, there are those Adult Superstores like theones already mentioned, and they're everywhere in the big cities, with big billboards, and huge lit up signs over their stores. Me and my hubby always get a giggle at some of the things you can find in there. I live in Memphis and am yet to see a Porn store anywhere unless we drive and hr to the town we moved from. No offence to anyone religious here but Memphis is full of holly rollers and if you don't belong to a church they don't pay any attn to you.
