Is it possible to find them (not just any at all, but relatively comfortable) in bigger sizes? I'm curious--I think I would enjoy the figure help, and it could only aid my posture, but I wouldn't want to fall into bed at night completely exhausted and sore from wearing it, either. I know for darn sure it would make me feel uber sexy, if I could find a comfortable one. After spending my whole life wearing nothing but tighty whities under my clothes, I was pleasantly surprised to discover the thrills that are to be had just from wearing colors. My best friend (who lives 3000+ miles away from me now) has promised to take me looking at corsets the next time I get to visit her (they have them in her area, but not mine), but as that's roughly six months away...lol. I don't know that I have the spare cash for it now, but I'm curious.

*leia--have to agree--erotic novels/stories do the trick for me much more so than watching people get it on. If I am going to watch a movie to get turned on, I'd also rather watch a movie like, say, City of Angels or The Cooler, with lots of story and a few sexy scenes, than actual porn. Straight-up hardcore just doesn't do it for me. (It's kinda gross, I think.) (I also prefer for my erotic literature to have lots of story, where you know how and why the characters are together. I personally agree, love is love, skin is skin...it shouldn't matter. I also know that if I ever bring home a guy that isn't relatively white, I better love him more than my family because I WILL have to choose. I knew my parents would be upset, but last Thanksgiving I was shocked to find out that my siblings all have the same opinion! So I wouldn't shy away from a black guy because of my personal feelings, but I have to admit I'd probably let my family's prejudice get in the way of any kind of relationship.

It's generally more personality that does it for me, but if we're discussing the purely physical aspect--I love little skinny guys. Skinny emo guys who can fit in girls' pants just do it for me. (I know, I'm definitely the exception!) Also, buff arms--not overly built (I'm not into muscles--bodybuilders are actually a turnoff ), but to where they look strong enough to move heavy stuff for me. Then again I've found myself attracted to guys who don't fit that description at all--because I had so much in common with them. Mike_d--more men like you need to make that opinion heard! Those of us who aren't size sixes would appreciate it if the advertising world catered to your tastes. (I won't get on my soapbox here and now, though, lol.) The only thing is that it irritates me that those two women, at that size, are labeled "plus-size" in the fashion industry. (I'm sure that label isn't yours originally.)

I saw that some of you posted jokes from time to time, and I read one today that I thought I'd share. Two whales are on a date. While they're swimming around they spot a fishing boat. The guy whale says, "Hey, let's go swim under that boat, then blow water out our blowholes as hard as we can and see what happens!" The girl whale is kind of reluctant, but he talks her into it. For me it's not so much the color as the style of the clothes, but I have to say that black, red, and green all help. Purple would, except it's my favorite color so probably 45% of my clothes are purple, lol.

*leia--I agree--Phantom of the Opera--OMG. I think it's the sweeping romance of it combined with the total, utter seductiveness of the tall, dark, and handsome stranger. And that VOICE--I've heard Music of the Night recorded from a Broadway performance and it wasn't nearly as sexy as Gerard Butler's rendition. Hee, I'm, what, six posts in? And I've already revealed my LotR fangirlishness. Billy Boyd's on my list--just not the top FIVE, lol. (Probably somewhere around seven or eight--that accent just makes me weak in the knees. And Naveen Andrews has his charms as well...so long as he's using the Iraqi accent. That's totally fake, in interviews he has a British accent and his voice doesn't seem to suit him...a bit of a turnoff for me. (Not the British accent in and of itself--I have a thing for accents --but the mismatching of it.)

I wouldn't say it's the main objective , but it's high on the priority list. I am amazed that with my mother's fascination with "household hints" that I've never heard of keeping batteries in the freezer. No, it's really not stressful at all--in a strange way it's sort of an affirmation. As for cold showers, I'm definitely not a fan--I much prefer long soaks in a warm bath with a good murder mystery, when my work schedule permits. Thanks for the kudos--some of my friends (the ones I've known the longest) agree with me, while some of the friends I made during my college years give me flak about it. (It's all in good fun, though, and I give as good as I get--no pun intended.) I definitely hope it's sooner rather than later--ideally within the next five or so years--but I have to find a boyfriend first. All in good time--que sera, sera, as they say.

Haha, thanks. It tends to be true--whenever someone says something that can be twisted/misinterpreted, I'm usually the first one to start giggling.
