Members nosleepnmesa
Welcome Les!! Well I have never had a problem or any safety issues regarding sex toys while pregnant. I have children and 2 of them were extremely high risk. Such as early water breakage and things of that nature. I talked to my doctor though of course before I used them. The only caution he gave me, is that since I was already dilated some to becareful and not to insert it to hard. I still played with my toys while I was pregnant and HIGH powered Vibes and didnt have a problem. I would always check with the Dr first though since everyone is different. Members Mikayla1
There is no difference between a vibrator and a penis - except that the penis doesn't vibrate! What you need to be mindful of is: pain, discharge, blood or cramping. IF you doctor has cleared you to have sex, than it is OK to use a vibrator. Orgasming is good for you during pregnancy, it helps the muscles and brings blood to your organs. The one thing you want to be very, very careful about is CLEANLINESS! Just make sure you are cleaning all your toys well - with anti-bacterial soap and warm water. No infection during pregnancy is a good thing. So, when are you due?Mikayla
Tyger
A real penis doesn't vibarate?? Well, my hubby's does, but I have to take a frayed electrical cord and zap him up his ass with it, almost as good as a BOB!!!! I'm just kidding, BTW!! I saw some men cringing there!! Anyway, like was previously mentioned, there's no difference between sex with a man,and sex toys, except the vibrating part, and making sure that you and your toys are clean. Lots of women get hornier while pregnant and many men actually complain cuz they're not getting enough rest!! So using your BOBS may be a good thing for your hubby's stamina!! Members whiskeywoman
there are 3 reasons why you should not use toys during pregnancy, 1) if you are already dialated.2) you are considered high risk for delivering preterm3)you have an infection, either group B strep or a yeast infection.Your doctor will generally check for group B strep at about 7 months I believe. If you are still concerned about masterbating while pregnant, ask your OB/GYN at your next visit.Just be aware that orgasms will cause minor contractions, they generally subside rather quickly. One last word of advice, make sure after you use your toys to clean them with an antibactrial soap and water, last thing anyone wants during pregnancy is to get an infection.Enjoy!
