Members chloegirl
Sex drives vary from person to person and what's going in your life at any particular time. The stereotypes all make it sound like women especially lose their sex drive as they get older, but around here it seems like just the opposite! (maybe there's something in the water!) Most of the women I know around 50 give or take, have a higher drive than they have ever had, wanting sex every single day while most of the men in this age group seem to be slowing down. If you could have your way, and being totally realistic regarding your health and ability, how often would you be having sex at this point in your life? How often are you actually getting it? Members chloegirl
When we are together, its 3, 4 5, 6 even 7 times a day...Realistically, I could be content with twice a day, at least for now. DITTO!!!

Members WendyNY
As I've gotten my older my sex drive has increased DRASTICALLY --Whereas my husband's has gone way way down. Sometimes he gets a little annoyed with me telling me that we JUST had sex earlier in the week on even the week before. So--he thinks I should be happy with that. For him, it's a combination of work stress and the kids . I know sometimes he's resentful that I wasn't as sexually aroused when I was much younger (when HE wanted sex all the time !!) Members ladylove
My sex drive is definitely higher than my DH. What I'd like and what is realistic are two different things. Everyday, twice a day isn't realistic, I'd be thrilled with every other day, but that maybe a stretch too.
Members square
My wife could no doubt go for every day, or twice a day, so I am the pacer. And while I'd like to be one of those guys who was at least able to do it 6 times a day, that is not the case. Every two to four days seems to work best for me, juggling horniness and sleep and other interests and obligations outside the bedroom.Besides, when we've done it more often, it almost gets a little too routine, and the orgasms don't seem as good as when it is less frequent. Members square
I could be happy with every other day.DW doesn't really care, as far as I can tell.Lately, she has been holding out for every other week......Every other week? Ouch.

Members mailahn97
I would say ideally due to life and responsibilities I would like it probably 3-4 times a week. Yes that does not mean I won't carve out some "me" time if I need to just work out some stress. Considering schedules what I have I am happy with and works for me as I can still take care of myself as well.
Members square
Do you ever have ill feeling towards your wife, because she has a higher sex drive? No. Would never occur to me. Are some people like that?(Maybe if I was in really bad shape it would be another story, but it is hard for me to imagine what I would feel like or think without being in that boat.) Members Kace
I think I could be happy with about 3-4 times a week as long at least half of those times aren't "quickies". I definitely prefer long, drawn out passion where we're both in tune with each other. How often does sex happen? Typically, once every 2 - 3 months. All "quickies".
Members mystofpric
I get it maybe once or twice a month right now. But I have to be honest, I take care of myself daily. B doesn't realize quite how high my sex drive is, but damn is he in for it when he does! Of course he also has a very high drive so I think we'll be fine once we can get a more regular routine. Members thurisas
I could go for one or two times a week. I have noticed a distinct decrease in my sex drive over the last 2 years which is good for my wife as hers has never been as high as mine. Seems like we may be able to meet in the middle sometime in the near future.Randy.
Review Team sass Posted February 15, 2012 Review Team Report Share Posted February 15, 2012 I would like it at least daily but at this point that is not realistic. SO is too far away for me to be with him with any regularity. FWB (for lack of a better term) is in the same town but still, life gets in the way. Both SO and FWB have huge sex drives and daily would not be unrealistic if we lived in the same house, but we don't.
Members Sunday
My SO has zero interest in sex, but my FWB makes up for it. We only get the chance one or two times a week, but I would like it 2 or 3 times a week - her, probably more. We had a weekend together, just 48 hours, but we had sex four times and were both ready for more at checkout time. Not doing it often means it's spectacular when we do get the chance - no quickies for us!

Members Sunday
wait wait wait, I've seen this a few times now, how do y'all have an SO and a FWB?About three years ago I was here getting help with the problems my SO and I were having. Some of you might remember. She just doesn't like sex. I found out just after we had committed to a relationship and it was a huge disappointment. I felt like I'd been lied to. We don't have sex, it's been about 2 1/2 years since we even considered it. I'm told I'm a big disappointment to her too. She'll move on eventually I suppose. I'm in no hurry and neither is she.But I have a friend who doesn't want a relationship, but loves sex - especially with me! :-) We go at it like teenagers and we support each other emotionally. She's the best friend I've ever had, and the sex is terrific.

Members mailahn97
I agree everyone is different. I think things are not as black and white anymore. Needs sometimes need to be met elsewhere. I think it is more acceptable now than years ago. No on can make someone 100% happy in every single area. If you are happy that is all that matters.
