Are Straight Women Less Attractive Than Bi And Lesbian Women?

Recommended Posts

First, I already know that nearly all girls are bi/bicurious/lesbian(90%) and that the vast majority of girls are experimental and get with girls all the time. But, this is for the very few girls who are actually straight. Are these girls usually unattractive? Everyone talks about how bi girls and lesbians are hot and guys always talk about them. The media portrays bi girls and lesbians as sexy too. But straight girls are never talked about or noticed, although they aren't many to talk about. Is this because they're the ones who are fat, ugly, or nerdy looking girls? Are straight girls straight just because they aren't good looking enough to get a girl?

Wow. I don't even know where to start here. TV isn't an accurate portrayal of anything, much less gender and sexual preference. First off, "90%" of women aren't necessarily bi/bicurious/lesbian. I have no idea where you got that idea though it's irrelevant - sexual orientation and attractiveness are not in the least bit related, the latter being completely subjective.

Straight girls are straight because they are attracted exclusively to guys.

I don't know where you got those facts from but I would say that is completely untrue. There are plenty of straight women who don't think about women and don't experiment or have a desire to, you saying the opposite is like saying almost all men are sexually attracted to other men and experimental also. Not true is it? I wouldn't think sexual orientation would dictate how attractive you are. I don't know what kind of lesbians you know but most are butch and not attractive. The ones you are referring to aren't usually lesbians but bisexual or doing it to get male attention.

I did say bisexuals women though, not just lesbians.

What do you mean necessarily? Either 90% of women Re or aren't bi curious. There is no maybe to that. I agree with the rest though.

How is it ridiculous? I'm 19.

Never said those words. However I did ask; Who did the studies on this, and where are the facts to back up your claim"?

I do find it hard to believe, and would like to know the source of your information.

I don't have one sorry only my experiences and others.

So am I/we to understand:

In your experience you find your original posting information to be true due to your personal experience?

If this is the case, no one can argue your wrong, that has been your experience. However I will tell you, your experiences are not of the norm.

According to a public health study, in Medical News Today:

Highlighted below are some key facts revealed by the study:

  • 3.5% of the US adult population is estimated to be gay, lesbian, or bisexual
  • 0.3% of the US adult population is estimated to be transgender
  • The two findings above imply that there are about 9 million gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender adults in the USA
  • Bisexuals make up a slight majority among those who identify themselves as gay, lesbians or bisexual
  • 1.8% of the adult population identify themselves as just lesbian
  • 1.7% of the adult population identify themselves as just gay
  • A higher proportion of bisexual females are likely to admit to their sexual orientation, compared to males. In eight of the nine surveys the researchers examined, bisexuals made up over half of the lesbian and bisexual population among females, while gay males made up over half of the gay/bisexual male total in seven of the nine surveys.
  • Approximately 19 million American adults (8.2%) say they have at some time in their lives engaged in same-sex sexual behavior
  • 25.6% (11%) of US adults admit to experiencing some kind of same-sex sexual attraction.

As far a beauty, it's in the eye of the beholder.

As far as heterosexual women being fat: Obesity as well as morbid obesity is a national concern. It effects people of all races, age, religion as well as sexual orientation.

As you can see, your limited experience has given you an inaccurate view or what the norm is, however I am confident as you age and gain experience you will come to know what is true. In the mean time open your mind to what you don't see, the possibilities are endless.

LL--those were great study facts you posted !!! (as always !! :) )

Raymond--I kind of have to agree with the others--I don't think that looks have anything to do with whether a woman is Bisexual--Bi-curious--Lesbian-or straight. The top fantasy of most men is to be involved in a threesome with 2 other women --Of course for these men the women in their fantasies almost always have that "Lipstick Lesbian" look. You know--super sexy---super gorgeous. Just like in Porn. But in real life some of these Lesbians may be gorgeous while others are just average. There is also the stereotype for actual LESBIANS--which is the Butch look. True--some Lesbians tend to look more masculine while others are more feminine.

It sounds like a lot of your college friends are discussing this. I'm sure there are lots of girls who are experimenting and acting on their Bi-curious urges. They are probably all hot by your friend's standards (or probably anyone's standards). When you look at the porn that's out there and the college parties they have-- it seems like the in thing to do. Of course the girls want to get all the guys riled up and turned on (and as I mentioned men LOVE to see 2 or more women together !! ) Probably most of these young women experimenting in college are actually straight for the most part with some Bi curious urges.

As far as Straight women being ugly or not good enought to get a girl---I'm not sure where you got that idea or information from- other than your observances. A truly straight women does not WANT another woman. There are signs which we all give off to the opposite sex (or in this case other lesbians ) You know when you have a connection with someone--male or female. A true lesbian is not going to approach another woman she does not feel a connection with regardless of her outward appearance. Just like Male / female relationships.

Lots of women have Bi-curious urges. I do. I've always been attracted to the female body. (breasts in particular ) It's a huge turn on for me. Someday maybe I'll have that fantasy fulfilled. But I have no desire to have an actual relationship with another woman like I do a man. (and no- I'm pretty sure I don't have that Butch look--- LOL....)

Now--as far as your statement that Straight women are unattractive----have you looked at Pamela Anderson lately ??? ( Along with a lot of other sexy straight actresses.) She looks pretty hot to me......For being " straight " that is...... :)

The numbers put out there aside, to answer the question, no I don't think that any woman in a sexual class would be any more or less sexy than another. As with most things, the perception of the beholder is the key. If you're the type of person who looks at a gay/bi/bi-curious person as unattainable then you may mentally place them in another class, one more appealing than an attainable girl. After all, with a gay/bi/bi-curious person, you either can't compete, or can't compete in the same way...with a straight girl, you're on the same playing field as the rest of the guys so there is pressure which can be a turnoff and pressure isn't sexy at all.

Randy.

Wow. Just wow. Where the heck do kids come up with this information? 90%, really??? That would be like 9 out of 10 people! I seriously doubt that. Almost everyone I know in real life at this point in my life, is straight. It may depend on the people you hang out with. My exe's family, all but one of his aunts & uncles was gay (his mom isn't). His aunts weren't "pretty" IMO, but they were nice people, and 3 of his aunts were in long-term relationships.

I AM bi-curious, however, saying that, there's a difference between wondering here and there (in all honesty, who hasn't even thought "what if" before?) and actually willing to try it are 2 different things. That would be like saying everyone that had the slightest thought of killing someone (I don't know too many people that hasn't said at one time or another, "I want to kill them"), calling those people murderers.

Bi-curious/gay being more pretty than straight? I don't think that's even a fair question. Everyone's perception of "pretty" & "not pretty" is totally different. I may be drop-dead gorgeous to one person, and a dog to the next. It's all what draws a person into you. For example: Kate Moss. She's a supermodel, right? Lots of people think she's drop-dead smokin' hot. However, several people I personally know, think she's nasty. Is it true? It depends on your point of view.

I don't like guys with pot-bellies, that resemble Larry The Cable Guy. However, one woman I met says that men like that just make her all ga-ga.

Women in porn do girl-on-girl stuff because porn is designed to attract men, for the most part. Men love watching 2 girls get it on (many of them, but not all). So, of course, you're going to see hot women going at it with other women. That's not mainstream. We don't go around in PJs and have pillow fights with exploding pillows flinging feathers everywhere either.

I'm glad you asked the question though. I'm not saying you're silly or stupid. I do hope we helped clear up a rather misguided statement though.

At this stage in my education in women I know enough not to use the phrase "90% of women" with respect to anything about them. They are too diverse for 90% of them to fit into any catagory.
