And i think i earned my degree in sex the hard rough way. But i'm a little smarter now, at least i hope so. I have concluded almost a year ago that i prefer to date older men now, for the very reasons you mentioned and one or two other.

Kate: I think you need a perspective on these observations. First, you were very young when you started screwing around. Second , the BOYS were VERY YOUNG, also, and I bet most of them were virgins. They may be stiff as steel rods, but they don't  know what to do with it.

Third: You did not know much about turning yourself on, so you couldn't stop them, and teach them how to turn you on. As a result, what they were doing was simply getting their rocks off, and you were just a masturbation aid. This is not unusual in that age group. It was the way things were in the 1960's when I grew up, and it still seems to be the norm, much the pity.

Fourth: The few men who continued oral sex long enough to get you off were probably also among the few men who gave you great sex!

Fifth: You are only 20 years old! God, I have ties older than You! You have a world of experiences to enjoy in front of you. You won't reach your sexual maturity and your peak of physical beauty for another 7-8 years at least. You are miles ahead of most other women your age in your knowledge of toys, sexual likes and dislikes, and techniques. The men your age are still trying to catch up. Most of the women your age don't yet now how much they don't know.  From reading your comments, its obvious you have earned at least a college degree in sex, if not your master's degree. But you have more to learn, both about yourself, and about pleasuring men and teaching them how to pleasure you, and other women. You can also do other women a favor by teaching them.

You might want to try making love to older men who have more experience than the boys you have known. But, I think you now realize its a frustrating waste of your time and talent to wait to learn if a guy knows anything for when you are naked, and in bed with him. So, talk to the guys that attract you, and have frank discussions about sex with men who are attracted to you, and who you might want to bed. If they are too embarrassed to talk about oral sex, I think it would be a waste of time for you to spend any time with them in bed. It they can't tell you what turns them on, and how they turn on their lovers, what positions they like, do they have toys, and do they use them with their lovers, why bother sharing your talents with them?

These are the hard lessens we learn about sex and partners as we work our ways through our teens and early twenties. When I met my second wife, she asked me if it was at all important that she be a virgin. I told her, " Hell, know! If I never sleep with another virgin again, it will be too soon!"  She was relieved, but also asked me why I was so adament about that. I told her how I felt about love making being a participatory sport, and my experiences with virgins being they lie there like dead meat and expect the guy to do everything, and make them happy!

Thanks for having the honesty to list your experiences, good and bad, so that we could all think back on our own mistakes, and successes. I hope this will encourage other women to also write in to this post.

I can think back on some of my earlier experiences - What disasters! But I can't blame the boys as I didn't know what to expect, didn't know what I would like or want - so there wasn't anyway I could tell or show them!

I've been in a committed relationship now with an incredible man (59 yrs. old).
