Members Mikayla1
As far as I know (from just educating myself on these things) regular soaps and body washes should be perfectly safe! You wash your penis with it, so you should be able to masturbate with it. I would assume that body washes would have a more "slippery" sensation and hence add to the feeling for you over let's say a regular bar of DIAL! My hb uses our (my) body washes as well. Sometimes I get in there and help him a little....nothing wrong with that, right? Mikayla
Members Ramy
Just remember any soap that enters in the hole of your penis is going to burn like hell when you urinate. My wife bought me a Fleshlight and I used it in the shower one day with soap......big mistake.
Tyger
Now, Howard, exfoliation is VERY important...... Sorry, I just couldn't help myself at all. It was bigger than me.
Newbie tiaira Posted December 29, 2007 Newbie Report Share Posted December 29, 2007 Try all natural soap, soap for sensitive/delicate skin, or washes made for infants. I've heard that liquid castile soap is mild enough to use on a newborn and it's very moisturizing. I've been meaning to buy some castile soap so my husband and I can try it out together, but I've just kept putting it off... now this thread has piqued my curiosity again and I'm going to buy some online as soon as I log out here. BTW....Hello, everyone! I'm new here and this is my first post. Hope someone finds it useful.Siren
Members pappyld04
The person, Howard I think, who said to rinse thoroughly is correct. I made that mistake ONCE and it dried. The next time my dick got hard it felt like it was being ripped apart. Lube is much, much better!
Members Amylynn920
I had to answer this because I'm a soap maker. Hand made soap has a ph of about 8-10 which is normal. It's not drying at that high of a ph due to natural glycerin in the soap. However, I would not recommend using soap as a lube. Get a good silicone based lube for the shower. Members SCcouple
100% Lye soap. If it was good enough for the pioneers of this great land...its good enough for YOU! disclaimer: if you can find lye soap, dont use it there....unless you're a masochist...then knock yourself out.....literally...you know, because you're probably into that kind of thing. Tyger
My hubby and I were in the shower one night, and I was washing him all over, and he me. Well, we were both a bit on the preoccupied side, and soap got just inside his hardening penis. I've never seen him to a jig like that before......and NOT in a good way. I would definitely stick with using lubes specifically designed for sexual activity.
Members Amylynn920
FWIW Lye soap is not caustic, it's drying to the skin since it's not superfatted, but it's not caustic. Soap is made with oils and a base acid (lye) in a water solution in exact proportion. Once the soap has undergone saponification (turning to soap) there is no more free lye in the soap. The lye converts to glycerin. It's just that most soap has a high ph, which is normal. If it had a low ph it would be a soupy unsaponified mess. Any soap is not a good lubricant and just should be kept away internally.
Members cplforfun2
Dove soap works best for us. If it has kept my skin clear for the past 30 years, I don't think it would hurt a man using it for masturbation. When we shower together I always use it on my hubby when stroking him to orgasm. After all, it's 1/4% moisturizing cream..
Rob
Ummm....15?...umm.....ROB!!!! ummm.....we need a screening tool of some sort! ROB!!???Any suggestions? We could make people pay for memberships to thie forum with a credit card but I really do not want to do that. That is one form of screening. Rob
You may not have to CHARGE, just use the CC as a verification tool...I would imagine that most of thepeople here have made purchases, and those that have not would be confident in giving a CC # due to your reputation. This might be a good idea. The big downside is that not all of our customers have credit cards and it is just one more obstacle in the way from keeping people to join. However, if this begins an issue with the board, we will have to address it. It has been a few years and I am only aware of people saying they are under 18 just 2 or 3 times. Without that tool, they stay. You can do a validation check by credit card or debit card or place a disclaimer in Terms of Service. I think a terms of service is important. But the easiest and cheapest way Rob is to get moderatorship in there.

Members SCcouple
Hi Rob, I believe this board software has some type of tool of some sort to keep minors out, but its really only a age verification question. The credit card thing is about the only way to keep them out, but I think it would also give the illusion that this is some kind of porn site...and its not.I think the best way is to keep a close eye on who's posting, and have the regulars feel empowered to "report" questionable postings. I ran this similar message board software for a while...something you could do is only enable certain boards to those who have posted XX amount of posts. So for example..until you get 50 or 100 quality posts under your belt you get full access to member pictures, gallery, or more of the "sensitive" parts of the board, but for newbies, only allow boards like "pre-sale questions" "ask an expert" etc. Might not keep out the minors, but it may make them work a lot harder to get in. Chances are they'd lose interest and move on.
