Members sexykitty
If age isnt one of the many factors that may cause a mans sex drive to lower then why is there so many medications for such a problem? Not all men and women are alike.....so age maybe a factor in one mans sex life and not in others. Also it could be something more that maybe medication is needed. Just posting this thought lets hear from the men of this forum on this topic. Do you think your age has changed your sex drive for the better or worse?
Members hrnychick
I am very surprised that some of the regular men of this forum havent answered you on your topic.I think that age can play a part in sex drive no matter if its good or bad male or female......I found that my sex drive increases as I am getting older.......now you would think that my younger days would have been my better time but over the years I have opened up more to diff things about sex.......i am more secure with myself and I am more secure with my body as well as being more in tune with it and what i like and dont like.As for my hubby he has had a lot of sex in his younger days before I met him and when we met we did it everyday and he still hasnt changed still has a very high sex drive very highdesire and even though it may not be everyday cause of the kids or work or whatever we dont let it get past two days at the most.......hopefully that wont change and hope his desire towards me wont change as well. Now we need to hear from a guy or two here on this.......give us the male point of view
Members rcmit
I'm not sure if it's that a man's sex drive wanes as he ages as much as it may be his sex-interest. I'm 55 and my gf is 41 and we are both at least as active as we have been at any time in the past (and we were both *very* active!) We keep our sex lives interesting, trying new things in new places; there's nothing routine, and most important, we keep it fun. It's possible that a man's interest in sex may diminish if he is not able to get, or maintain, an erection. This is where the drugs come in, if you're referring to Viagra, Levitra, etc. They are for erectile dysfunction (ED), not for sex drive, and ED is definitely linked to increasing age, as well as other factors.Robert
Members nosleepnmesa
Well Sexykitty have to say that I am shocked that there really isnt that many replys to this. Curiosity is killing me since I thought that it was because of my hubbys age but i was wrong but curiousit sure is killing me on this topic.I think that age and life in general have alot to do with it in a since but then again I am female so I prolly would assume that
Newbie oifsgt Posted July 9, 2006 Newbie Report Share Posted July 9, 2006 I'm still young, but since I have been having sex, the older I get doesn't play a part. Now with being deploy every other year does. It''s like being newly weds all over, it's great. I want it even more, and when I am home I feel kinda bad for my wife. She is tired trying to keep up. I do think how ever that age will at some time be a cause for a decreased sex drive. There are the 70 year old men that still are very active(with the help of modren medication).
