I know what you're going thru, I have 2 sisters (one is 7 yrs older, one 11 yrs younger), and a step-sister that is only 9 mos. younger than I am. I had more sibling rivalry with the step sister, since the other 2 are pretty much a whole generation apart from me. We fought like cats and dogs. I was the "good" sister. I tried hard NOT to compete with her, and, when her biological mother (my step-mother) compared us, verbally, to her daughter's face, I thoroughly discouraged that behavior. Unfortunately, it's common for parents to compare the kids, and not realize the damage and competitive nature between the siblings. I'm not sure how much of an age difference there is between the 2 of you, and you're still fairly young. You say that you've let all of the "competition" go, but it really doesn't sound like it. There are 2 ways to handle this: 1. You can tell your sister that you do NOT appreciate her talking negatively about you, and that you would appreciate that if she has any comments or questions, to direct them to YOU, no matter if they're good or bad...period! Tell her to mind her own business, and that you will do the same. Follow thru with this. Be the more "mature" person. 2. Or you can go with the flow and allow things to progress as they have been, which is making you miserable. You can't control what she thinks, but you can tell her how angry it makes you that she talks crap about you like she is. You also can't control what she does. If she makes the mistake with her husband, to get a house they can't financially afford (which, no offense, is none of your business), that's on them, not you. If she feels like there's a competition, that's HER problem. Just live your life how you want to and are financially able to do. Be a good parent. Do what YOU feel is the best interest in your life and your child's life. Living to compete with your sister isn't a way to live your life. You don't need to justify yourself or actions to her, and she needs to realize the same. I hope that the both of you can mature and become close in the future. Having a sister to talk with, share things, and lean on is EXTREMELY important.

Actually, it DOES say that the shaft is 4" long, and though it doesn't say the diameter, chances are, it looks to be 1" in diameter, give or take a bit. Usually, toys don't go higher than 1.5" without having to pay a higher price for it. Also, I would read the reviews on this toys too.

I like making things look nicer. I am a HUGE yard sale freak, and love to see stuff I can make over!! So, here are some of my yard sale find makeovers!! The basket was just plain on the inside, so I thought the Texas flag would look cool in it. I have a star that I'm painting a cowboy in too. I paid .75 for the basket, and used paint I have on hand. This was a pair of iron lamps. Hubby got these as a bonus for doing some work for some guy. I think they antique.....They were cast iron, painted white, but old, and the paint was chipping. Marble bases included!! So, I used some "stone" spray, and made them look really pretty! This was also painted white, chipping, of course. I got the glass at a seperate yard sale, and used the same stone spray. Total cost for this was $1.50!!

My Dad made this one. He loved making these. I got this one after he died. He made this one especially for me.

I'm sorry he's sick, but this happens more often than not. The shot doesn't prevent all strains of the flu, it's usually the one strain from last year, or the one that they "THINK" will be the major hitter for that year. I hope he gets better very soon.

Yeah, sometimes life can really slam into you. Even though you know that others may have a harder time, that doesn't make what you're going thru any less stressful or upsetting! So, I hear on the news tonight (3-30), that there's been a really terrible act of vandalism at a Houston playground. Some asshole burned it down!! Most of the toys there were plastic, and it's a total loss. They think it's arson (duh). Here's the deal (for vandals/pyros): if you want to burn something down, try doing some yard work, rake a shitload of weeds, leaves, sticks, and whatever, and burn that shit down!! This way, you're helping around the house, burning legally, and not destroying stuff that's not even yours to destroy!! It only took the city 2 weeks to build it, but it took a helluva lot longer to get the funding for the playground in the first place. So many families living in Houston live in apartments & duplexes. They don't have a good place for their kids to play, and some idiots have to ruin the fun of CHILDREN. For what? To say that they're COOL?? Gimme a break!!! Leave where the kids play ALONE!!! How would you like it if someone did that at your house, or to your siblings???? Gawd!! Stupid people really bug me!!! (I was gonna say burn me, but I guess that would be a bad pun right now!) I really hope they catch these people.

There are a few great suggestions here! Getting one of those mattress pads for kids that are in training may help. All you'd have to do is change the sheets and the padding. Or, there's a mat you can get, that only covers the area your crotch area would lay on, usually found in the infant/toddler dept. It's like 2'x3' or something like that. Smaller and easier to clean, less hassle than a full mattress pad. Though, I think they only sell those in that size, so you'd have to make sure you're laying on that area, but with a full mattress pad, it wouldn't matter. Then there are the towel suggestions. Keeping a beach or bath towel under your bed, to grab handily would be a good idea, and able to keep up the spontenaiety more. Best wishes!!

It could be an allergic reaction to the spermicidal stuff you're using (foam? Gel? Sponge?). I guess it depends on what kind of PAIN you're talking about.....cramps? Sharp pains? Rash? Sore spot inside? You could also be hitting her cervix, if it's a pain that comes when you thrust in deeply. It's definitely cause to go talk with her doctor. Most birth control pills are over 98% effective if taken correctly (around the same time, everday, no pill-skipping), so the spermicidal stuff is usually not necassary. I doubt it's her newer BC pills, since she was having this problem before. Have her talk with her doctor and discuss what's happening. The sooner, the better, so she can enjoy sex again.

Plus, it stands to reason, that if a woman isn't suppose to drink caffiene, and watch her diet while pregnant, swallowing semen isn't much different, just in smaller amounts than what a woman would eat at a meal or snack.
