I am leaving for Florida Saturday morning for two weeks. No, I won't be basking in the sun--my mother is having heart surgery and I need to be down there for her. I would have left sooner, but it is snowing and since we don't get a lot of snow I didn't want to plan to leave on a day where they might not be able to fly, or we may not be able to get to the airport (about 90 miles away). It has been snowing for 12 hours now, and is coming down pretty good right now, and the wind is so hard the snow is going horizontally, rather than vertically. As I said, common for many places, not for southwest Oklahoma. I won't have access to a computer with Internet, unless I get my mother's Internet reconnected, which is a possibility. But I probably won't be seeing you guys again until after the 17th. I'll miss you! Please pray for a good outcome of the surgery, and a speedy recovery. My mother is 80, but still has a lot of life left in her, so I'm not ready to lose her yet! And also pray for good flights for me. I live in Oklahoma, so it is never easy to get anywhere from here, but flying into Fort Myers, Florida, so it is really a round about route, including Dallas (always when flying out of Oklahoma!) and North Carolina, and I'll be in airports and planes for almost twelve hours. I've flown to and from Germany and Italy in that same length of time!
