  1. Had a great Chnristmas, thanks for asking! Family, food, etc. I got books, movies and music mostly, but my family also gave me items to use when I start college next month. I went on-line before, so there were a lot of items I didn't need that I will need going to a regular university. Hubby also gave me a toy that I wanted and I found batteries in my stocking (the toy was given in private). Hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year!
  2. Thanks for the comment about me not looking my age! That makes me feel AWESOME!!!

  3. You said hat this felt like a piece of plastic, it is because it is plastic, the description for it states that. You mght want to get one that is gel. My personal favorite is shown below. Since you don't need a real long vibrator to hit the G-spot, I find this one to be perfect. Plus, even though it is plastic, the end is soft rubber. Essence Pure Energy Vibe By the way, would someon please tell me how to put the links into my e-mail that others use. I am getting frustrated trying to figure it out. Thankis!
  4. Thanks for the review. I had seen these and since bullets/eggs are my favorites I wondered if these were worth the expense. I've added them to my wish list!
  5. I understand where you are coming from. Have you ever looked at some of Georgia O'Keefe's paintings? She is my favorite artist and I feel many of her paintings (mostly of flowers) are erotic:
  6. I just saw that this had not posted correctly. Sorry! I had deleted this image from my PhotoBucket, not realizing it would delete it from where ever I had posted it. Still learning.....
  7. No visitors, no comments, no friends.....bummer!

  8. Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope your Christmas is a wonderful time for you, your family and friends! I thought I had posted Christmas (and Chanukah) greetings yesterday with a note that I was back from my mother's in Florida, but I can't find it, even when I go back and check under "My Assiatant." We are still waiting to hear about what the doctor is going to do with my mother. One doctor said he wouldn't do the surgery, that she wouldn't make it off the table. Her cardiologist wanted her to get a second opinion as he felt it could be repaired, and this surgeon said he could do it if the valve that needed replacing wasn't too small, and the cardiolgist needed to run an additional test to find out. So we are playing a waiting game right now. If this surgeon says he can do it, and gives her decent odds, she will go for it. The doctor was amazed at how well she was otherwise for her age (80), and her "spirit." He thought that alone made her a good candidate for the surgery. Either way, she is at peace. My one prayer is that she does not suffer. If that means no surgery and she dies sooner, then I am ready to accept that, as is she. So we will wait and see. In the meantime I had a wonderful visit with her. It was some very special time together, as it had been years since it was just the two of us--there has always been my husband, or my daughter (or all my kids, but my most recent trip home was when my father died and just my daughter went with me), or my sister.
  9. Your last sentence there is so true! That's why I'm here!!!
  10. VirginGirl, if you ever want a life, get out now. I cried reading through your posts. I left home as soon as I turned 18. Since my alcoholic step-dad died in 1981 my mom and I have made amends and we are super close, but even at her worst my mom was miles away from yours. My daughter (28) still lives at home, her choice, but has moved out twice before and moved back, once because she moved back from another city (it was a temporary live theatre job), the second time because I needed the help when her brother almost died in a car accident. But she has a good job, nice car, lots of friends and an active social life. We have a great relationship. Get counseling. Your mom has totally messed with your head. You say you live in LA, so there has to be a good transit system. Get out and get a job if it is only flipping burgers. As far as substitutes for toys, there are hand held massagers you can buy at Wal-mart. If that is still too obvious, try a battery operated manicure set, etc. Those woud be good for clitoral stimulation. You might have more luck with those than trying to come using some object as a dildo.
  11. I am leaving for Florida Saturday morning for two weeks. No, I won't be basking in the sun--my mother is having heart surgery and I need to be down there for her. I would have left sooner, but it is snowing and since we don't get a lot of snow I didn't want to plan to leave on a day where they might not be able to fly, or we may not be able to get to the airport (about 90 miles away). It has been snowing for 12 hours now, and is coming down pretty good right now, and the wind is so hard the snow is going horizontally, rather than vertically. As I said, common for many places, not for southwest Oklahoma. I won't have access to a computer with Internet, unless I get my mother's Internet reconnected, which is a possibility. But I probably won't be seeing you guys again until after the 17th. I'll miss you! Please pray for a good outcome of the surgery, and a speedy recovery. My mother is 80, but still has a lot of life left in her, so I'm not ready to lose her yet! And also pray for good flights for me. I live in Oklahoma, so it is never easy to get anywhere from here, but flying into Fort Myers, Florida, so it is really a round about route, including Dallas (always when flying out of Oklahoma!) and North Carolina, and I'll be in airports and planes for almost twelve hours. I've flown to and from Germany and Italy in that same length of time!
  12. Thanks for all your replies. It has really given me a lot to think about. I appreciate all your input. I have a high tolerance for pain--had all three children totally natural, have had ear infections and hardly noticed them until I started getting dizzy (doctor said he didn't know why I wasn't crying in pain), live with constant arthritis pain from a broken ankle, etc. I'm OK with a routine too, of keeping it clean. I have read though that the recovery time can be up to a month for a clitoral piercing, but it didn't say if sex was not recommended during that time, or what. That in itself is a consideration, too. May sound like a stupid question, but it is something that I've been wondering about. And the scars are a consideration I had not thought of. Thanks, again, for pointing that out.
  13. I like the idea of trying it in increasing lengths. A couple other suggestions: Ben-wa balls. I like the Real Skin Softy Balls--http://shop.tootimid.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=5044 I've kept them in for several hours, and I've never orgasmed with them, but they definitely stimulate, and when riding around, especially on our bumpy roads, they do the job well. Also, rather than a regular vibrator, which may get uncomfortable after a while, why not a bullet (cordless or remote) and let your boyfriend handle the controller. That way if you should need a breather, you'd be able to turn it off. Have fun!
  14. Superb article, thanks for sharing! I agree totally. Self esteem is one of the biggest things when it comes to a woman's inner beauty and sexuality. And I love the mention of Sophia Loren. George Clooney, in the article for People's Sexiest Man Alive, mentions her. He commented on how sexy she still is--and she is 72 now!
  15. Just wondering if they stay on well, are they stimulating, etc. (both the clit and nipple). Also, aside from the ones that TT offer, what about the non-pierced shields you can get in some places? My nipples are not real large, unless excited, so I don't know how the non-pierced nipple rings/shields would work. Also, I am considering piercing, any one have any info to relate? I'm definitely going with the naval piercing when I get a little more weight off, but that's because of my goal with my belly dancing.
  16. OMG that is so funny!! I'm still laughing!
  17. Same here, I hope everyone has a great day. I know I'll have a busy one, but it will be filled with those that matter the most.
  18. Reminds me of the time I was eating escargot in a small restaurant in Germany. The place was full, and we had to share a table with another GI that we did not now who was eating alone. They had the best escargot, and I always ate it there, but when they brought them out to me, this guys eyes got real big and he said "Are those snails?" I told him yes and proceeded to dig in. He got a little green and left quickly. I felt bad because they had sat us at his table when he was already there, but I didn't allow that to interfere with my enjoyment of one of my favorites!
  19. How long do the watch batteries last? Are they common ones that you can pick up at Wal-mart, etc.? I have always shied away from toys that have watch batteries in them.
  20. Thanks for the info on the pine nuts. They sound good with the sugar on them--I'll have to try that. I have to eat many of the nuts I eat raw, as I can't eat peanuts, peanut oil, peanut butter, etc., and most (not all) nuts that are roasted are roasted in peanut oil. And I'm originally from Florida, so have had some fresh oysters. I could eat them to survive, but they are are not my favorite. I live in Oklahoma now, and my goal is to eventually get back to the coast in Florida. I miss the fresh seafood and the beach. It's a pain being land-locked! But it seems like there is always something keeping us here. Someday.....
  21. An interesting article that came in my AARP newsletter. I am into herbal supplements, eating healthy, etc., so this was interesting in more than one way. I enjoy everything on the list except oysters and pine nuts. I'll have to try the pine nuts, but I don't know if I can deal with the oysters......never did like them cooked or raw (but I love other seafood). http://www.aarpmagazine.org/food/appetite_for_seduction.html One nice thing to see on this was that even an organization for the older people out there still included information regarding sex. Yea, us!!!
  22. From what I've heard about Yaz, it is totally different than the older BC Pills. Not sure why or how, haven't bothered to research it because I don't plan to use it, but have seen the ads for it. But the Pill has definitely improved over the course of the years. As for other methods (kbaby), it really depends on how safe you want to me. My husband and I used foam by itself for all the time I was breast feeding, and some other times, and the only time it wasn't effective was during a repeat performance when we didn't use more foam. I thank God daily for that "oops" as I can't imagine life without my youngest child. Foam and condoms together are extremely reliable. What I didn't like about that was once the foam was put in, oral sex was out for me [to receive] unless we stopped and I went and douched. There are the old standbys of diaphrams (hated them) and IUDs, both that work without hormones. I know IUDs are still available, but you don't hear much about them now with the Pill, rings, patches, etc. I never felt any anxiety due to the Pill. My only side effect was the decreased libido.
  23. Howard's info is a good starting point, but even though you have been on the pill for 10 years, did you just recently start on Yasmin? If I'm not mistaken, that is a fairly new one on the market. I for one found my libido decreased when on the pill.
