Hey Alan, I have many sleeves and have never had one tear on me. I'm pretty wide and they are a little rough to go on at first. My question is are you sure that the lube you were using is compatible with the sleeve. I know silicon based lubes will break most sleeves down, that is why I always use a water based lube. Sorry I can't help you with the rest as I am cut. Hope I helped. Also I love Jenna's futuristic love sleeve's .
