We stopped at the pharmacy to pick up his prescription and it rang up as $240 FOR SIX PILLS. Who can afford that? Insurance won't cover anything! We used to pay $40 for six pills. Not even sure what to do. We can't do much without them. He is young , but other medication interferes with him maintaining an erection for more than a couple minutes. We are frustrated. Of course you could try switching insurance if that is possible. Otherwise there is always going across the boarder for medications. Or you can wait until a generic version is put on the market (which is going to happen). Lastly, there are many things to do that do not include penitration, and many ways to find pleasure. While it may not be intercourse it still allows for sexual expression, release and connection. But I understand there is frustration by not being able to have what you most desire. It's also possible that you can split a 100mg tablet into 4-25mg doses or 2-50mg doses. You also mentioned that he is able to get an erection, but not maintain it. Have you considered trying a penis pump and using a cock ring? You may be able to keep him hard enough to satisfy both of you. And, as has been stated, there are numerous ways to enjoy sexual intimacy beyond intercourse. And, as you may, or may not have already discovered, an erection is not necessary for your husband to have an orgasm. Tech told me prescription meds fluctuate like any commodity. I thought that's ridiculous but it is what it is.Lately gas prices went WAY DOWN. Dropped to $2.05 at local Safeway. I'm not sure if Viagra gives doctors samples, but you may ask your doctor if he can get you some samples to help with this. I would think that, the health of a marriage, warrants insurance coverage!!! It's all about the bottom line with them.
