DES is a strong synthetic estrogen. It had undesirable consequences on many of the babies. Males were feminized in various ways. Females were incapable of having children or breastfeeding them. I personally think that cross-dressing is just something people like (like if you prefer a certain color). Or, that, if it's sexual, then it's considered a personal kink. A friend of mine, her hubby likes wearing women's underwear because of the material, and how it feels. I don't disagree. This post should have been "One Reason Why Men Cross Dress". Somehow there is always a sexual aspect involved to some degree. I do it out of necessity (gynocomastia / hormone imbalance) So it becomes practical for my pear shaped body. But when I am dressed (undergarments only) it feels more natural and because of that more sexual. And with your experience ...  Not gonna lie......it was HOT!!! ... The reason DES was banned is that it was linked to breast cancer in women who were prescribed it during pregnancy. Being a former big time crossdresser I can say women have either one of two reactions either they are extremely turned on and thing its hot or think your a freak and are totally turned off by it.  I can only speak to my own experiences and feels as to reasons why I enjoy it was because yes I had an extreme attachment to my mother who taught me that sex was normal and a beautiful thing and not to be afraid of what the world thought but, what made you happy. You mentioned that you attribute to the close relationship to your mother. In sense you already know the root cause of your cross dressing. But for many cross dressing can be confusing. Why are we doing this? Why does it feel so natural … so sexual?  I listed one interesting possibility … DES. Maybe that's an answer for some but not for all. Understanding why as you do  will make a big difference to many. I always feel better when I understand why something has happened.  So, really, that was the only point. Here's one possibility why. And, yes, if it feels good let it ride. Thanks for posting your thoughts.

PS: You know that for cross dressers life really is a dress rehearsal!

Well saying my close relationship with my mother is the cause makes it sound like there is something wrong with doing it. I just an exercise in free will hey I wonder what it's like or what does it feel like fill in the blank. Maybe it genetics maybe it's hormonal the maybes could go on and on. Maybe my wife's parents and her strict religious upbringing are the cause for her bisexuality or perhaps just a curiosity or maybe she always was and just wasn't allowed to be who she really was but the bottom line is she is very happy with her bisexuality and her love for women as I am with dressing and enjoying playing the stroke of a woman.
