I'm a happily married man. Mensaphiliac is a synthetic word, from the Latin mens meaning "mind" and the Greek suffix -philiac meaning "one that has an attraction to or tendency toward." I chose to use mensa, Latin for "table," instead of mens because, despite the literal meaning, there is a stronger general association of mensa with the mind.
