I am grateful on quite a bit of fronts. I have learned so much and had my eyes opened up. I have become a reviewer and love it. It has shown me some wonderful things. Mostly yes we all became friends in a sense through posts, but since the chatroom it has become so much more. I have made some really great friends as well. They are not just online friends either. We talk on the phone, make plans to get together and are there for each other. I will admit I am in the chatroom a lot. I am also a stay at home mom that runs a business from home so it affords me the time to do so. Even with that I know that at night I am nine times out of ten meeting up with my friends as well. Some of those have become very special to me. I know if I have a problem or need to talk I can. There is no judgement passed, they will be open and honest. I am the same towards them. We laugh together and when one of us is down we are all there for that one no matter what.I just wanted to say for those who haven't come in to chat...try it...there are some great people in there. For those I chat with all the time thank you and I look forward to a lot more laughs and fun times that is for sure.I want to give a special thanks to a few of you MS, SP, TQ, AK, Suzy, PILTA (yes you are included), Kat and there are others but I normally talk to these on a DAILY basis. There are people here that I can talk to about things I don't feel able to discuss with my RW friends. It is amazing how much many of us have in common and how easy communicating is.I actually feel closer to some of my online friends than I do my RW friends. I know that seems impossible - but there is only person in the world who I have told my entire life story to (yes, you know who you are) and he is an online friend. I trust this person, and many others here, and that is a HUGE issue for me. Why can trust here when I can't in RW? I don't know, maybe because I have been able to get to know these people on a mental level first - with no physical distractions. That is the best I can come with.Regardless of the reason, I too am glad to be here and glad to have met (and continue to meet) great friends. And yeah, the chat room ROCKS!!!! But the personal messaging does, too. Sometimes it is nice to have a one-on-one conversation. Sometimes it is nice to have a party in chat. It is great to have the option of either. I know that I can talk and I am not being judged. I think you hit it right you take out all of the other distractions on here and can get to know a person for who they truly are. Which is really nice. I am a big fan of that. Hell that is how my other half and I met. We talked for a month online and phone before we even met face to face. I agree there is one person on here besides my other half that truly knows everything I have been through and are going through to this day. She knows who she is and she is awesome. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. She gets me laughing when I need it the most that is for sure. We always have a good time when we are talking no matter what the topic might be.I didn't include the pm's they are great as well. I also like the fact that say you want to have a private conversation with more than one person you can set up a room and go talk where others can't see. This is a chance to discuss things without either sharing things you are not ready to share with everyone or to just be silly or whatever.Rob this has been wonderful and thank you. Hell pretty much everyone here does. But I know that I can come to you guys and bitch and complain and your not going to judge me for it. I know that no matter what happens in my life I always have you gals (and guy) here. Even though I've been massively depressed in real life I know that you girls have my back. Thank you. I know I can tell you guys anything, and I have to some extent, there are still things that i don't tell and it's not that I don;t trust you but somethings are just best left dead, ya know? I have been so stressed with work and mom and trying to get into the guard and all that and it means SOOOOO much to be able to count on my girls. You guys are offering, nay, demanding to write to me when I go to book camp and all that jazz and it means the blooming world to me! I only hope to be the kind of friends to you that you are to me. Tho its true I lay it on the line here where I wouldn't even consider it in the real world. Hell when I told my best (guy) friend I was into BDSM he called me a queer. Needless to say I gave him about a year to lighten up. We're back to being pals but I know what I can and can't say with him. What's kinda weird is my best friend I CAN talk about sex stuff with is a lezbian that was in the maintenance department for a little while till she scored a sweet $18 hour job. It helps me to just unload the shit that piles up in my head whether I figure out the prob or not.
