If you are doing this for yourself, then I say go for it. I have friends who've had it done and are very happy with it. A couple have had some complications, but are happy with the outcome. However, if you are doing this for your husband, then I would suggest trying to find other ways to make your self happy that doesn't require having surgery. He may not even like the way fake breasts look. Not all men are turned on by them. And yes, you can tell when someone has had it done. Di's guy's comment above is spot on. Know your Doctor and ask questions. This is a major surgery to have done. There are many complications that can happen and the media does not expose this side evenly. Also, make sure you know that many women who have boob jobs do have to go in to have the surgery "adjusted". It's not always a one time deal. I have smaller breasts and would never consider doing it. Bottom line, I would NEVER want to walk around with foreign material in me. The leakage problems alone scare me to death. Having silicone floating around in your body possibly. Yuck. However, to each is own. Weigh both sides and figure out what is important and are the risks minor for you. This has to be your decision about what YOU are comfortable with in your own skin.
