OK, I am of the same mind as Mike here. I didn't know my parents had sex, didn't WANT to know, and thought it was EEWWWWWW! The problem with my parents was, well, besides the fact they probably weren't having sex, but they didn't show ANY love between them at all, that right there is what leads to bad relationships in my opinion. I don't want my kids to hear me or feel the house (or motor home) tossing about like a boat on the ocean, but I DO want them to see my husband and I have romantic moments. That has been the most difficult part for me, because both my husband and I were raised in homes where that doesn't exist, but do I want that for my kids, NO! So I think when kids are involved, keeping the sex part from them isn't such a bad thing, but DO show emotion and romance in their presence.

LOL! I understand about the ZERO privacy thing. We have been living in a 29' motor home with our 3 kids now for 2 months. I can't WAIT to get into our new house!!! I say wait till the kids are asleep for sure and then go for it. We find early mornings are better then late nights. But remember, we not only have to be quiet, we also can't move much, just walking through this motor home makes the whole thing move. I haven't been as comfortable here, but we have managed. Thankfully these times are few and far between. Be creative and have fun.

I think as live evolves, we too evolve. Just like bell bottoms come back as flairs, everything comes around again. So where people are NOT wanting hair down there now, in 10 years will it be stylish to have massive amounts?? I prefer to be trimmed as I am a total wuss about getting anything ripped off my crotch, one hair stuck in a pad hurts like hell, I can't imagine what having them all ripped out feels like, and am not willing to try it. I too am a bit 'curvy' and had ordered some things that were "one size fits all", I had my doubts, and I was right, one size does NOT fit all, even if you are only a 14... I think I am going to order some nice things for our new master bedroom we'll soon be moving into.

I won a pretty big jewelry chest at a Bunco game about a year or so ago, so I used that for some of our "stuff", but this year, just days before we moved, I won a second little treasure chest, that will work great for the vibrators I have, I only have a couple right now, so I might have to upgrade later on. I did find my middle daughter looking in the keeler chest, in her defense, we never had anything to hide, so never had any rules to not snoop... that has changed. But I also buy things that aren't totally obvious as to what they are for.

I wonder if it was more the age then the times. I too was a teen in the 80's and wouldn't have thought twice about doing anything on the first date, it was just common, and I thought guys expected it. And I wouldn't be intimate with anyone I didn't love. But then again, I am almost 40, in a relationship and that makes a difference in the way I feel about this topic too. But I still say wait. Thanks guys. I am excited, we close in 11 days. As for leaving CA, it's OK. It's too expensive there, we had a VERY modest manufactured home that we 'built' 16 years ago, we remodeled and upgraded the whole thing, we paid $90k originally, and sold for $422k. We had a lot of debt though, because living in CA on one LOW income with a family of 5, doesn't cut it. So we are able to pay cash for this house, which is FAR nicer then the house we had. So it's worth leaving CA to have financial freedom!

When I first found TooTimid, we had our house for sale and might have just sold it. We closed escrow on April 26th and moved out April 30th into a 29' motor home with 3 kids, 3 guinea pigs and 4 cats! We left for a 16 day vacation from CA to Eastern TN on May 14th, we arrived in TN on May 30th and have been look at the areas around here since none of us have actually BEEN here. The good news is, we signed papers to buy a house yesterday. It's a BEAUTIFUL house. Two story, and the best part is, all the kids are on the second story with their own bathroom, and the master suite is on the ground floor behind the footprint of the main house, so we have NOBODY above or below or next to us! And the master bathroom is to die for. I wanted a shower big enough for us to both fit it, and this house has it. It also has a bench in there! YEAH.... sex in the shower, FINALLY! So we wait now till the 25th when we close and can move in. I am so excited. LOL, this was the first thing I bought when I decided to spice up our love life. I was going to use it as a means of suggestiveness (is that a word??) but I could put it on, and my husband would know I wanted sex, or he could leave it out on the counter as a means to tell me, since we were both a bit shy about hitting on the other. I didn't like the powder much. It was difficult to put on, and yes, sticky. I DID like that it was sparkly. If you just dust it on, it has a nice effect if you don't sweat or lick.
