Hi all, is anyone else getting hit with the flu that apparently is not covered by the shot. Thankfully I have not gotten it but it sucks. You see My SO was out of town for 3 weeks....1 for business and 2 to visit his parents in Florida. We got together the day after he got back and that whole day he was complaining of being hot and cold and just not feeling himself. That next morning it hit him bad. He had nightsweats to the point of the bed being soaked, fever, aches...including his scalp hurt to touch. He was out of work 2 days and sick all through Easter weekend. Good Friday I talked him into going to the doctors but there was no way he could drive himself. The doctor told him he had the flu...he was baffled he had a shot. The doctor proceeded to tell him the strain he has was not included in the shot and a lot of people are getting it. Here is the kicker the doctor said it could take 2-4 weeks to completely get rid of. I asked the doctor if he was insane....he didn't like me saying that. Well this past Friday he ended up not making it to work again and spent the whole weekend in bed. Today he started with fevers again, but forced himself into work. I feel so bad for him...all he keeps doing is apologizing to me because he doesn't want to get to close and give it to me. I feel so bad for him. I am about the same age as well. I have just discovered this part of me about 3 months ago. We use thick towels. The only thing about the ones with the waterproof backing that are like the ones in a hospital. They will stick you easily which can be a real pain. What types of things is she lying about? If it is something really major I would definately have to do a lot of thinking.
