Communication, especially about sex has always been very hard for him. I have always been understanding and patient, even though I just wanna scream sometimes. We have been married for nearly 10 years and together for 12 so I had made peace with the fact that this is just who he is. So, last night I am watching TV and hubby is on the computer, which is in the same room. Out of the blue he asks me if I had seen the books that he down loaded on the computer, I am thinking they are probably about dog training as we have 2 pups that need it. I tell him that I have not seen the, what are they about?He grins and tells me that they are karma sutra, sexual positions and such. Well, I am absolutely floored! He then proceeds to tell me that he has learned some new things and that I should record the show I was watching so he could show me!! Wow, where did this come from! So, we go to the bedroom, and just snuggling and really enjoying the closeness and skin contact. Then he hits me with another bombshell. He starts talking about things he wants me to do, and things I could do differently. I am not one to look the gift horse in the mouth, but who is the man and what did he do with my husband! Might I add that I never knew that simply talking could be such a HUGE turn on! I think it was great for him to finally open up about all this, because He made love to me with so much more confidence than he ever had before!Now, sex has always been great with hubby, but last night was out of this world. He even said that he would start to be more open about stuff from now on, and said that it was easier to talk to me about all of this than he thought! So, for all of you who are too shy to talk about sex, just let it out! It will open some new doors that you didn't even know where there!I just had to tell you guys.Thanks for listening! My husband is pretty open about talking about stuff....but it's a rare deal. and I totally know where you are coming from with the dogs! I visit this and one other forum, and he visits about six dog and hunting forums, lol.Last night, he wanted to have sex, but I was so tired, I turned him down. And I shouldn't have done that. Usually he does not want it at night, says he is too tired. He likes it better in the morningsBut, we are suppose to be getting a new couch today, and all the kids are gone......so we can break it in! Try reversing the roles, be the man on the puter surfing for porn...let him catch you and maybe that'll open up some new avenues to sexuality for you two. I caught my ex online...(as she wanted me to) and it lead to many nights of very fulfilling sexual acts.
